ICP 06. Keep a calendar this way you will always know...
In case you haven't found it yet, one of the following envelopes were slipped into your respective homes sometime after midnight:

Along with the appropriate note:

In honor of the Lunar New Year (or Chinese New Years as everyone calls it).

And as the Rat ends, so starts the Year of the Ox. Out with the old misfortunes, and in with a renewed hope for new possibilities.

I've only now heard of the two-week long celebration is being held in the park near the hotel, ending with the Lantern Festival on the 9th of February. And I must say, the thought of it brought a small smile to my face. I used to love the New Years celebrations when I was younger. The Lantern Festival especially. And... depending on if work will allow it, I think... I might indulge a bit of my childhood. At the very least, I think I'll go to see the parade of lanterns again.

That said... would anyone like to come with me?

At home, we used to have elaborate celebrations in honor of the New Year. I think perhaps it would be nice to go, if you don't mind my company.

My parents used to take me every night of the festival to watch the fireworks and festivities. It was... perhaps one of the best memories I have of my childhood.

And of course I wouldn't mind. I would not have extended the invitation if I did.

When and where shall I meet you?

That depends on several factors. One of them being when you are free and are willing to go.

Mrs. Tanaka asked if I would take her to the festival, so I will be in attendance. Perhaps we could meet at some point? I'm sure she'd like to wish you a happy new year in person, Tenten.

Are you planning to dress casually or in kimono?

Ah, yes. Mrs. Tanaka. I remember her from the Moon Festival That seems so long ago, doesn't it?. I'm surprised that she remembered me. How is she doing?

Meeting up somewhere to watch the fireworks and parade of lanterns would be nice. Neji said that he wanted to come as well so perhaps the four of us can enjoy it together?

...And I think this time I'll be dressing a little bit more casual. What about you?
